Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color Swatches

I've blogged previously about Bobbi Brown's rich lip color , I even tweeted raving about them and I got a tweet back from Bobbi Brown herself. 
So, no question I'm a fan, I don't have all shades but I have most of them, several of which are my overall favorites.
Since I love semi-matte/matte lipsticks Bobbi Brown's rich lip color's formula is the perfect balance they give enough moisture when first applied then gradually turn matte. But the great thing about them is they don't dry out or turn your lips dry after a while. In addition, they give opaque good coverage and they last for a couple of hours.

Bare Pink:

This is one of my ultimate favorite shades of nude. I don't wear it on it's own I always apply MAC's impassioned just in the middle and I always get compliments on my it.

Bikini Pink

Cosmic Raspberry:

Mod Pink:

Mod Pink: a cool-toned, brighter medium pink with blue undertones.  One of my favorite shades. Definitely a must have.

It's sold out almost everywhere the minute it's restocked, I got mine from Thailand.

Pink Peony:

 Pink Peony: It's a medium toned watermelon pink. A must have as well. Love it. I believe it's not out in Dubai yet got mine from Thailand.

Rose Blossom:

Soft Coral

(Paired with Pink Nouveau)

A beautiful shade of soft orange. it looks amazing when paired with MAC's Pink Nouveau. When I do pair them I get loads of compliments.

Soft Nude:

Soft Nude: is a light soft brown. Some might describe it as rosy brown, I don't see the rosy side of it.

I got in a faze where I wanted lipsticks that resemble your natural lip color, and I always ended up with brown-ish shades which I utterly hate. They wash off my skin tone giving me a pale sick look.

I'm not a fan of this shade.

Wild Rose:

Wild Rose: a subtle raspberry Pink. Amazing.

Overall I'll rate this product: 10/10

The only downside is not all shades are available in Dubai and it takes ages for them to get restocked or released.

Bobbi Brown Long lasting Lipstick comes in 12 shades:

I do like this lipstick. When it comes to consistency and finish it is as Bobbi Brown described it to be "lightweight yet intense"
This lipstick has a semi matte finish, which i really like. It has a creamy texture when applied. not much application is needed to achieve a nice color.
I originally wanted to get 7 shades but Old Hollywood and Mob Pink where not available. (going to place an order soon) 
I got 5 out of twelve shades as they where the most appealing to me. The only thing I don't like is when i viewed the colors online they seemed lighter than they originally are. 
My favorites are: Bare Pink, Bikini Pink, and Soft Coral. Therefor I recommend these shades.
The shade I truly disliked and regret getting is Rose Blossom. It's the most unflattering shade. Regardless, it might look amazing on different skin tones.

Overall this is a great product I wish some colors where slightly lighter and It would have been great to have more shades and tones available. 
I would buy this lipstick if more shades where released as I truly like the result they present.


On the whole I would rate this product: 8/10
