Kim Kardashian's wedding Hair & make-up: All the Details

When Kim Kardashian walked down the aisle toward her NBA-player husband-to-be, Kris Humphries, she was part princess, part old Hollywood in her custom Vera Wang gown and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. “Every girl feels like a princess on her wedding day,” Kardashian tells PEOPLE.
But it wasn’t until her hair and makeup were complete that the bride truly felt ready to meet her prince charming at the end of the aisle.
“We wanted to make her an amazing movie star from the ’40s, ’50s, ’60s; like Sophia Loren or Ava Gardner or Elizabeth Taylor,” says Peter Savic, who created Kardashian’s intricate chignon. “She looked very polished. It was classic and tasteful yet exotic.” While Savic had seen the main gown — and he and Kardashian had traded ideas — the two didn’t have any trials. “I just created it that day,” he says.
For his part, makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic carried the princess vibe into Kardashian’s cosmetics. “She wanted to look like the most polished and beautiful version of herself,” he says. To prep her skin he used moisturizer by La Mer and By Terry Touche Veloutee concealer under her eyes, giving her a fresh-faced look. Ensuring things stayed put during the long day, Dedivanovic set her makeup with Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre Natural Finish loose powder.
When it came to highlighting Kardashian’s stunning features — especially the eyes — “I used Lancôme 5 Pan Eyeshadow Palette in Golden Frenzy,” he explains. “I swept the golden shade all over lid, the darkest shade along her crease and the lightest shade I used on the brow bone to highlight. I swept the golden colors along Kim’s lower lash line for a super-soft smoky look.” And to give her lashes beautiful length and volume, “I applied two coats of Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Lashes mascara in So Black,” he explains.
To warm Kardashian’s skin and contour her cheeks, Dedivanovic relied on Guerlain Teracotta bronzing powder. “I brushed a bit all along the hairline and along the jaw line,” he says. “To chisel her cheeks, I swept it along the hollows of her cheeks.” Finishing off the look, he defined Kardashian’s voluminous lips using YSL Dessin des Levres lip liner in Nude Beige and Lancôme’s L’Absolu Nu lipstick in Coral Sand (a sheer peachy hue), adding a final touch of shine with Lancôme La Laque Fever lip gloss in Ravishing Coral.
But his job wasn’t done yet. The secret to her stunning shine-free skin throughout the day and night? “Tatcha Blotting Papers,” Dedivanovic reveals. And since Kardashian changed gowns throughout the evening, Dedivanovic had to keep his work classic. “The look had to work with any dress she chose,” he shares, “so we kept the makeup consistent through out the whole day and into the evening.”

Kim Kardashian's People magazine wedding photos

the couple on their honeymoon in Europe

In my opinion she looks stunning and so regal. The bride dazzled in Vera Wang and dripped in Lorraine Schwartz diamonds. Loved the head piece, and her makeup. But what's with Kris Jenner's gown!! I don't get the gigantic bow!!
I have to say I don't like the black and white theme but overall it was so posh and fab! And I believe the only person wearing white should be the bride.
If I got married and gained around $18 mill I'd also be the happiest bride in the world =p

Nichole Richie and Joel Madden's Wedding

Nichole Richie and Joel Madden tied the knot last week. Nichole's dress was specially designed for her by Marchesa..
The dress looks amazing on her and I like that she had her and Joel's name embroidered on her sleeve, quit a sentimental and romantic touch.

Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky's Wedding

Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky's officially tied the knot yesterday at an elegant estate in a Hudson River village.

Chelsea wore a strapless Vera Wang with gold and silver beading. The bride looked simply elegant and beautiful. The gown is not my cup of tea I only loved the upper part of it. Even though, it suites her and she absloutly looks stunning in it. Some brides don't have that certain glow, but she absolutely does..
