Urban Decay Naked Palette + Ammo Shadow Box (Swatches+Review)

I love Urban Decay I got so many amazing products that I will be reviewing soon.
I got my hands on the infamous Naked Palette a month ago. They where sold out here in Dubai as well as online.. when they where restocked at Sephora US I had to get my hands on one.
I wanted to give it a try before reviewing it.

I absolutely LOVE Urban Decay's eyeshadows they are pigmented and easy to blend.
let's start with the packaging. It comes in a velvety brown case. I quite don't like the velvety part since it can gather dust easily.
Anyways the palette contains 12 full size eyeshadows along with a mini Primer potion and a Karma shadow brush.
I never used the brush. I previously did a review on the Primer Potion.
I truly recommend this palette if you are looking into investing in a good product that you will often use. Every color in this palette is usable. It can be used for a day to day natural look and can be transformed to an evening look.
I would've liked to see more matte eyeshadows since there are only two. Other than that it's a great product to invest in.
I do find the finish and the consistency of Urban Decay's eyeshadows better than Macs. A small amount goes a long way.
The Naked Palette costs around $48. I'm not sure but it's supposedly over 200 DHS.

Moving on to the Ammo eyeshadow. The consistency and finish is the same as the naked palette. The palette contains 10 eyeshadows. It has some amazing shimmery colors.
Ammo eyeshadow Box costs around $38. I'm not sure it probably costs around 170 DHS, don't remember how much I got it for!

Overall verdict:
Naked Palette: 9/10
Ammo eyeshadow: 7/10

Urban Decay Little Sins Eyeshadow Primer Potion Set Review

I got this limited edition set months ago. And I have not stopped using it even since.
It comes in 4 shades:

  • Greed  has a shimmery golden yellow tone.
  • Sin has a shimmery golden/copper.
  • Eden has a yellow/beige tone somehow close to a concealer but not as intense.
  • Original has a peach tone to it but goes transparent once applied.

Ever since I got this product I have stopped using my mac primers/base as they all tend to get cakey and end up creasing. And I have used most of mac's primers.. Paint pots, Primer Prep+, and paints......
I love this product and a small amount goes all the way. A lot of people prefer the original, but my favorite is Eden, As it somehow covers the lid just like a concealer and when applying any eyeshadow the color would pop and show more. But don't expect it to be as intense as a conceal that would cover your eyelids.
I do like them all and whenever I would want to apply some shimmery eyeshadow I would use one of the two shades with shimmer: Greed and Sin. I have to add I love the names as well so unique..
Some people get to use this primer before conceal so it would last longer. I personally never tried this but thought of sharing the tip.
I do recommend this and if you are still looking for a good primer i suggest you get your hands on one.

Product Rating: 9/10
